Congratulations are overdue

      It is long overdue that I congratulate the couples from the two weddings I have done so far this year. Kate and Kevin were wed on August 13, 2011 at Beardslee Castle in Herkimer New York.  Gina and William were married on September 4, 2011 at Pratt's Falls in Pompey New York. Both couples ceremonies were unique and wonderful in their own ways.

Getting Started

After many painful and crazy hours, breaking, building and learning, then breaking again, I am ready to post to this blog.
       I am a photographer and an aspiring scientist/engineer. I like optics, the study of how light interacts with the world around us. In keeping with that I practice photography, taking snapshots of how light bounces off people and places at a given moment, capturing memories. Although at this point the majority of my photos are centered around nature, I have been shifting gears toward event photography. There is nothing more rewarding than capturing a smile or a look, showing the emotion of a moment, or of a place.
